In my honest opinion, the main ideas of this unit were the geography of major events, different types of government, and diverse religion. We studied countries such as Italy, Greece, and Britain. The Romans influenced how we live in society today by giving off ideas like using a Republic to make all the regulations happening in the streets of America. Religions like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism help those in need of the right path to take. We as a class also studied over the different types of government like Democracy, Oligarchy, Aristocracy, and Anarchy. The Greeks also paved the way we live by giving us the idea that we should think for ourselves instead of being told what to do. If not for the Renaissance, England would have never benefited from the Church and King at the time. All in all, without these necessary changes in life, the world would be a lot different and a lot crueler to its citizens.

Modern Global ImpactThe modern day society should be thankful to both Greeks and Romans because of how they revolutionized the way our Government is run. In doing so, these two groups helped with the creation of a Democracy in which the power is of the people, by the people, and for the people. If not for this, then nothing would be possible in a world full of Goal Setters trying to make the most out of their life.

Impact on my Personal LifeIn a way, the Enlightenment Era helped all of us by creating a different point of view for us to think for ourselves and solve our own problems. Without this, then we would be helpless and vulnerable to those who are dangerous and irrational. In conclusion, without this virtue our so call Government would be lost and unable to think for the better good of its people.

Current Event Related To This UnitThe current Presidential Race we have today is made possible because we have a democratic system. If we did not have this system then we would live in a world with Anarchy, where there's no rules and only chaos. In the last two weeks, the US Government held a gathering for the very first debate between Clinton and Trump. In this debate, the two argued back and forth for more than hour on how they would fix the multiple problems in our country. This was all made possible because we adopted the idea of having an equal government within our society.
